A stronger New York starts with all of us.

Come join us to make a difference for New Yorkers all across the city. There are so many ways to help, so many ways to change a life. And every contribution make a difference.

Donate food or start a food drive

The more food you donate, the more people we can serve.

We run food drives all year long—for special occasions like Thanksgiving but also to keep the influx of support steady for our guests.

We also accept donations from your pantry to ours, and from our wishlists of staples and canned goods.

Rescue food

Good food. Put to good use.

On average, each NYC household wastes 8.4 pounds of food a week. Across New York State, supermarkets, restaurants, colleges, and hospitals create more than 250,000 tons of wasted food and food scraps each year. In light of the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who need support every year, these numbers are staggering.

The good news is that we can help. We accept large and small food donations and can partner with you for regularly scheduled pickups if you are a food-related business.
